Last look along Woodward Boulevard is an upcoming game created by Garage Heathen. It is currently still in development, and the demo is planned to come out in Mid March to April 2025.[2] This page is here to compile all updates on the progress of this game until release.

The offical steam page description reads: Last Look along Woodward Boulevard is a horror puzzle adventure, where your thoughts and mood affect the environment around you. Journey through strangest planes, constantly struggling to keep your own mind in check, solve puzzles by using your mood and avoid the many dangers awaiting you along the road. Who deterred you from your path? Who is the mysterious person guiding you? Why does this all seem so familiar...

Features include: Thought/Mood system - hard to control at first; As you move through the journey, you will gain access to more and more tools to wrangle your thoughts. Gritty dithered style, now in multicolor! More focus on puzzles and mechanics tied to mood Live action cutscenes with some familiar faces, Surreal and diverse locations, and more.. [3]

Dear followers! Throughout a large portion of my life I have been having certain health problems, not life threatening, but serious enough for me to go to the hospital for about a week every now and then. Normally, I can work fine from there, but for last look in particular I require some physical materials, help from friends as well as a powerful computer, which I simply cannot get while hospitalized. This time, I am again required to go there, as it often happens, at the most unfortunate time. I was planning to release the demo in time for the Next Fest, but with the situation at hand, I simply cannot meet this deadline :( Therefore, the schedule has to be moved - the plan is to release the demo sometime in March, probably closer to the middle of the month (worst case - end of March, beginning of April) I apologize for this delay, but on the upside - I'll have a bit more time to polish everything

Our first single is coming out February 22. and is homonymously called Last Look along Woodward Boulevard

Meanwhile, we have also been working on a music video, which we have put a lot of sweat, blood and tears into :) The MV will be out on the same date. I am looking forward to working on much more stuff with these goofballs, and, at least the first album, will have some story relevance to the game. Yay! Emotional states[]

We know that their is at least 5 different emotional states, that are visually mapped out in the top right corner of the screen. Each extreme is colored by a different point, red, yellow, orange, green, and blue. We don't have offical names for these emotions besides simple Ire, and Unease[52] Below is a Gallery of Totems so you can get a better look at them.

Triva[]

  • This game did not have a working title for 8 months of its development, so fans called it "Who's Lila 2" "Two's Lila?" and Untitled sequel.
    • Garage heathen has since referenced this by posting "Whis lila 2" on twitter in response to an instagram reel of a man making different expressions to unlock doors, possibly hinting towards this games play style.
  • The titles front is "Bona Nova SC"'
  • The photo from January 18th mentions "three pentacles." This is likely a reference to the minor arcana card, the three of pentacles, which symbolises the importance of teamwork.
